Mary adopted 16 year old Tim from foster care who is now 24 and 20 year old Richard who is now 28. Chester adopted 17 and 15 year old siblings who are now 34 and 32 today. Chester adopted a third youth, a son, more recently who was 14 when he moved in and he is now 19 attending college. Today’s discussion is about the power of having someone in your life who considers themselves your parent, or your mom or you dad, and how that special status and relationship follows one through life.
