Awarded through a generous grant by the Redlich Horwitz Foundation, You Gotta Believe began a Youth Collaborative group as part of its “Nobody Ages Out” initiative that will be headed by long time YGB Youth Advocate, and foster care Alumni, Anni Keane. Anni is our guest this evening to talk about the Collaborative. Anni noted that the purpose of the Collaborative is to be a support to youth in care. The group will include foster care alumni as well as current youth in care. There will be a strong focus on educating new prospective parents and current parents by having the youth in the collaborative to “speak up, and speak out” on this issue of why no youth should leave the system without a lifetime parent and family.
